Nikola Tesla path

Almost everything is known about the famous Nikola Tesla!

A great inventor, an unusual man, and a lover of nature ... born in Smiljan near Gospić, but few people know that his father was born in Raduč, a small village near Lovinac.

Nikola often came to Raduč with his father and loved the hiking trips they went on.  As he got older, he used to go the same way every time he came to Raduč. There he found inspiration, "listened" to nature and all its sounds, enjoyed the beautiful views, and discovered... He once later declared: I am not an inventor, I discover. I am the discoverer of the principles that exist. First, there was energy, then matter.

OPG Naša farma of the young Alujević family, also lovers of nature, is located in the same Raduč. In addition to organic raspberry cultivation, they designed and implemented the "NIKOLA TESLA PATH"

Guided by the records of Tesla's childhood, they revived the paths where the famous discoverer - as he called himself - hiked.

They enriched that trip and now it is in their offer.

The program that awaits you:

- 9:30 a.m. gathering at Our farm with a tasting of products from the farm - raspberry jam, raspberry syrup, and honey

- Departure to the beginning of the trail - transportation is provided

- Hike - Teslina Kosa, Obljaj, Okić and Dobrića Kosa / The first break is for brunch - cheese, pancetta, and homemade bread and the second next to the cave where the campfire is lit and tea offered

- Return to OPG Our farm and lunch - roasted chicken, porcini risotto, and potatoes from Lika

The duration of the trai is about 3 hours and the program ends at 4:30 PM.

The trails are not marked, forest roads, forest trains, and free hiking are used.

Each group goes with 2 companions. Adequate clothing and footwear are required.
