TUESDAY in SATURDAY

From long ago, the fair day in Lovinac was Tuesday!

That was the day when the hardworking people of the Lovinac area, and beyond, came and offered their products.

There were hundreds of sheep and lambs, many calves, which were mainly bought by butchers in Zadar and Šibenik.

Eggs, cheese, potatoes, poultry, honey ... there were also handicrafts - Lika hats, tambourines dangubica, opanci ... an abundance of life and work.

Of course, after the lively marketing, the company moved to the " pub " Peranc for the lamb, which would be washed down with a good Dalmatian black.

That's how it used to be, so at the initiative of the Lovinac Tourist Forum, we started part of that tradition and decided to move "Tuesday" to Saturday.

Every Saturday, from 01.07. until 16.09. when the Days of cheese and potatoes from Lika are held, the fair will be held in the very center of Lovinac from 08:00 to 12:00!
