Velebit Nature Park

The largest protected area in Croatia is Velebit.

Velebit is a 145 km long wealth of vegetation with 2 national parks - NP Northern Velebit and NP Paklenica. It is home to protected plant species (Velebitska Degenija, Hrvatski Zvončić ...). Due to its natural values ​​and significance for the preservation of the biological value of the planet, it is included in the UNESCO network of international biosphere reserves.
